Welcome to Bourne Fire/Rescue & Emergency Services

Bourne Fire / Rescue & Emergency Services proudly serves and protects the 20,351 residents and countless visitors to the town of Bourne annually.  Our Firefighters/Paramedics and Firefighter/Emergency Medical Technicians responded to 4,449 emergency calls for service in 2019.  These emergencies include fires, medical emergencies, motor vehicle accidents, hazardous materials incidents, water rescues, etc.

In addition to the emergency services we provide, we also provide many other non-emergency services ranging from child passenger safety seat inspections to public safety educational presentations in order to keep our community safe. We also conducted hundreds of life safety inspections around town.  While some of these were requested, the vast majority are required inspections. Whatever the emergency, or when you don’t know who else to call for help, Bourne Fire / Rescue & Emergency Services is always there for you.

It is with great pride and purpose that the men and women of Bourne Fire/Rescue & Emergency Services dedicate themselves to providing the most effective and efficient response to any emergency in our community.

In the event of a fire or other emergency facing our citizens:

  • We will strive to deliver the most appropriate action to protect life, property and the environment.
  • We will perform any lifesaving rescue with courage, diligence and professionalism.
  • We will consistently strive to provide the highest quality emergency medical services by rendering
the most expedient and compassionate care available.
  • We will continue to provide the citizens of Bourne with quality education and prevention methods,
to further our mission and success.
